The importance of nutrition is often overlooked within the current school curriculum. Basic Australian Dietary Guidelines are taught, but children often leave school being vulnerable to diet culture and disordered eating patterns due to a lack education.

This seminar provides valuable information about making healthy food choices, understanding Nutrition labels, and the impact of diet on overall wellbeing. Children will learn about carbohydrates, fats and proteins and walk away with the knowledge of how much they should be eating of each macronutrient group per day to fuel their bodies and support physical and mental health.
